Position Summary
Senior Software Engineer

Location:  Near Gerrards Cross,  South Buckinghamshire

Overview

This role will be working as a senior developer in the Mac and iPhone
XenApp Client Development Team.  You will work within an experienced
team of skilled software engineers and be responsible for coding and
testing software programs under limited supervision. You will also be
responsible for providing work estimates and plans for yourself and
other team members on new assignments.  Tracking progress against plan
and providing proactive correction is an important skill in our
dynamic environment. You will be required to provide leadership on
projects and features of medium to large scale and provide technical
guidance to other engineers.

In summary your tasks will include:

• Analysis of requirements
• Functional and Design Specifications
• Design/Implementation/Coding
• Unit testing
• Engineering documentation
• Adhering to Engineering formal/informal processes
• Leading other engineers on development projects and features.
• Interaction with other Citrix departments
• Planning for self and others, including tracking progress

Preferred Skills

• C / C++ / Objective-C programming
• Mac OS X and/or iPhone development
• Object-orientated software design
• Microsoft Project or equivalent planning tools
• Experience of people management desirable but not essential
